Here is an original way of escaping the city, by staying right next to it!
Solidly moored at the Pont d'Issy, this beautiful barge is amazingly well planned and subtly decorated, giving an impression of being far away, accentuating the relaxing effects of the water flowing along the hull.
It is mesmerizing to the people working in the offices nearby, as well as to the loving couples of the neighbourhood.
The atmosphere here changes with the seasons. In the winter it is cosy and rather intimate, thanks to the big fire place and to a very maritime décor, mixing copper, chrome and a dominating mahogany.
In the summer, the place is enchanting with its calm terrace, surrounded by trees.
You will no doubt enjoy the singing of birds, and the sight of dismasted sailboats and motorboats, going up the Seine, keeping both ears and eyes busy.
And your palate is not forgotten! The Chef composes a very savoury cuisine, with a particular accent on fresh products; fish from Brittany every morning and a selection of carefully chosen market products.
The result is a quality traditional cuisine, sometimes coloured by Mediterranean accents, modern and original but always in accordance with the season.
As is every dish here, the desserts are also homemade, and they will no doubt surprise you and tantalize the most demanding taste buds, those of regulars…
