In the charming little village of Hagondange, a well known restaurant both in the region and in the guide books awaits you for a great moment of regional gourmet cuisine: Le Méligner.
The restaurant was created in 1910 and was then known under the name Gasthaus sur Eisenbahn.
It quickly became famous and since then it has lived up to a well earned reputation.
Harmony is the key word in this restaurant where warm colours, subdued lights and sober decoration are gently mixed.
Serenity is what would best define the tasteful dining room and you will find it really hard not to relax and be convinced by the atmosphere of this elegant yet simple place.
For more than ten years the establishment was listed in the Michelin guide under the red “R”, sign of a restaurant known for its excellent choice of products.
And it is precisely by the quality of the regional products and by the inventive talent of Chef Frédéric Sandrini that you will recognize Méligner.
That is what made the successs of this gourmet establishment.
Our Chef is very keen on traditional cuisine, and he wants you to taste his remarkably fresh compositions, with his very personal touch to them.
Selected with great care, each product is really at its best in the hands of this passionate and talented Chef.
Frédéric Sandrini and his whole team are happy to welcome you and to share moments of gourmet pleasure with you.
