Le Restaurant de La Plage is a part of Boulogne’s
history: across the street from the National sea center called
Nausicaa, close to a long beach of fine sand, this restaurant
is a tribute to the delicious times at the turn of last century,
when the city used to welcome European high society on the lookout
for the pleasures of the sea.
The former Hôtel de la Plage has lost nothing of
its personality, it is all sober elegance and simple luxury.
Everything in the intimate and cosy dining room
speaks of class and good taste, from the crystal glasses to
the paintings by Michel Chemin, all through to the freshly cut
flowers that add a touch of delicacy to this already charming
place.
The mild colours are in perfect harmony and they
are an invitation to relaxing and to feeling at home here.

delicious cuisine, he is a true artist in his field. With a
very personal daring touch, this malicious Chef mixes flavours
from the sea and products from the land.
