It is just in front
of the magnificent Bagnes Lake that Le Portanel, a little gourmet
restaurant that is now famous in the region, has chosen to welcome
you.
Now here is an establishment
full of personality, and that is not afraid to say so. In the
very colourful dining room, with a personal and varied décor,
you will no doubt be charmed by the delicious almost marine
atmosphere emanating from the place. 
You will not have seen the best of Le Portanel until you have
seen the veranda and the unique view it has to offer overlooking
the blue and glittering waters of the lake.
Here you are in
unique settings, light years away from your everyday life, where
nature, wildlife and traditional fishing are all part of the
traditions.

Rousseau is just the same, he has some nice surprises in store
for you!
This resourceful Chef is really a magician at heart, he will
compose dishes that are delicate and refined, that will have
you dreaming about other horizons. Full of flavours, daring,
each dish is an ode, a poem…
And if you should remember one flavour only, it should be that
of the thousand and one fish compositions, that are really excellent
according to all critics!
Le Portanel is one of the places that you will no doubt remember
long after you have left.
The settings are unique and beautiful, the view overlooking
the Bages Lake is amazing, the village is certainly worth a
visit and the cuisine is an adventure in itself, with varied
and refined flavours.
And you have no excuse for not discovering this poetic and gourmet
place, especially since ideal gourmet offers a very interesting
menu!
