Tradition is kept alive as the cuisine gets more
refined…
This imposing and well known establishment in
Burgundy knows how to move on without losing sight of continuity.
Daniel Doucet is the undisputed master of the
entrecôte steak from the Charolais.
He has learnt to tame producers and to listen
to them, in order always to choose and get the best pieces…
He has managed to turn La Poste into an almost
obligatory stop for meat and Burgundy lovers…
He can be proud of having found in his son a convinced disciple
as well as a talented Chef.
Frédéric Doucet has indeed come back to share
the kitchen at La Poste with his father, after an apprenticeship
taking him from Bocuse to Troisgros and Pierre Orsi…
A revolution? Not really. It is tradition with a subtle touch
of innovation and imagination. Great cuisine!
The setting inside is nice, the terrace lovely, the service
good and the cellar impressive.
The ideal gourmet menu should be missed under no circumstances;
everything is there, and thank you to the Doucet pair!
The menu changes according to seasons and the
market.
The menu below is only an example.
