When you hear Brest, you immediately think of salt water, sea
spray, a longing for other horizons and departures…
This name
of Brest is a story in itself and even if the weather according
to the legend is not always the best, there are numerous other
reasons to visit!
Like this little restaurant for instance,
ideally located right in the heart of town and started by Yann
and Isabelle Plassard a few years ago already…
La Fleur de Sel.
And what a pleasure for the city to welcome its wunderkind back!
The Chef was away on training with the greatest Chefs – Vigato,
Cagna…. – and then decided to come back to his origins, offering
his home town the results of his studies: an inventive cuisine,
playing with flavours and herbs, a modern cuisine too, full
of creativity.
The Chef’s compositions change with the seasons
and with the arrival of fishing boats!
This delicate cuisine is what is more served in
a completely new decor, with a resolutely art deco inspiration,
where wood and sunny colours dominate.
The welcome and service
are not forgotten, all smiles and directed by Isabelle, the
Chef’s wife.
The ideal gourmet menu has been composed especially for you,
and whatever the weather outside, it will be very difficult
to make you forget your plate!
