It is in Capelle La Grande, in a restaurant with a new poetic name, La Fleur de Sel, that you are awaited for a few moments out of time.
This is truly a poetic place; the Fleur de Sel
is an establishment with a very well defined personality, a
bit different from everything else you can find in this region
that is very attached to its traditions and its roots.
This
is a modern restaurant, with its looks resolutely on the future
and the dining room of what used to be called Le Bois de Chêne
is really transformed.
The tones are now mild, going from grey
to dark red, through a warm chocolate brown if you take a look
at the leather armchairs; the décor is rather sober,
the lights are original and the paintings of the more abstract
and colourful kind.
The result is a trendy and friendly place
that does not have to be jealous of the most beautiful places
in Paris.
If the décor is brand new, nothing has changed
for the service part, where Doria will still welcome you with
the same care and attention, all discreet efficiency.
As for Laurent Braem’s cuisine, it has undergone a little revolution.
His compositions were already delicious, now they are more modern
and original, there is a touch of nouvelle cuisine to them.
He plays with sweet and sour flavours, juggles with floral and
spicy flavours, this genius of varied flavours has reinvented
his gourmet world, one that was already quite rich.
These flavours
are simple in appearance, yet subtle and surprising; you will
enjoy them only after having admired the presentation that is
always delicate.
This modern restaurant is as sparkling as its poetic name suggests.
We really suggest a stop here, it is a promise of a successful
mix between elegant atmosphere and tasty cuisine, with a note
of true originality to it.
This establishment is truly charming,
ideal gourmet can promise that if you come in once, you will
want to come back!
